Rob Driessen

Rob learned his trade in the international auction world (Sotheby’s 1996–2007), as the head of the 20th century decorative arts & design department, among others. Additionally, he was widely active in his field as a freelance exhibition maker, publicist, guest lecturer, speaker and advisor to collectors and museums.

• Chartered member (MRICS) and registered valuer (RICS, 2015)
• Certified registered appraiser 20th century applied art from 1860 & Design (TMV, 2005)
• Art historian (UvA, 2001)

With a strong desire to advance the professionalism in the field, he has donated his time to organisations such as The National Glass Museum Leerdam (Supervisory Board member 2016-2018) and the Federation of Appraisers, Brokers & Auctioneers TMV (board member 2008-2021, chairman 2017-2021). He also promotes his profession as a member of the expert panel on the television program Tussen Kunst & Kitsch.

Not surprisingly, Rob takes care of communication and customer relations within the partnership.
